I bet you’re wondering, “What exactly is a /32?” In the world of IT and networking, a “/32” represents the most specific route possible, pinpointing a single, unique IP address—kind of like a digital fingerprint for each device. Think of it as a one-of-a-kind address that defines you, the host, and no one else. We chose this name because, just like in networking, every person has a unique path in life. And for anyone to reach us, we must carefully define and communicate the clearest route to who we truly are.

As a long time Network Engineer, I always wondered why there wasn’t any really good IT humor out there, or if it was, nobody would understand it. Well, I wanted to change that, because we are an amazing group of people that create, build and engineer technological amazements into existence!

I am a retired US Army Signal NCØ, and I am owner, operator of the new Tech/Infrawear clothing brand “/32”. Slash-32 is for all hosts, known and unknown, enthusiasts, artisans and practitioners out there who love IT. What started out as a fun idea, now turned business, I wanted to share with you all some of the crazy concepts I have in my head, and some of the crazy things I have seen and heard throughout my time as an Engineer.
