And for anyone to reach us, we must carefully define and communicate the clearest route to who we truly are.
As a long time Network Engineer, I always wondered why there wasn’t any really good IT humor out there, or if it was, nobody would understand it. Well, I wanted to change that, because we are an amazing group of people that create, build and engineer technological amazements into existence!
I am a retired US Army Signal NCØ, and I am owner, operator of the new Tech/Infrawear clothing brand “/32”. Slash-32 is for all hosts, known and unknown, enthusiasts, artisans and practitioners out there who love IT. What started out as a fun idea, now turned business, I wanted to share with you all some of the crazy concepts I have in my head, and some of the crazy things I have seen and heard throughout my time as an Engineer. Isn’t “/32” just a subnet mask or math fraction?
Technically, yes. In IT, a /32 defines a single unique address in a network. Outside of tech, it can look like a simple fraction. We use it as a reference point — something precise, specific, and instantly recognizable to those who know.
Are you a techwear brand?
We design clothing for people in tech. Some of it lines up with techwear, but our focus is making clothing that fits the culture we come from.
Do you use AI for your designs?
No — all of our designs are made by real people. Concepts come from the founder and are developed by our graphic artists. Everything is original and intentionally created.
What’s the journey of a /32 item?
The D:MAC Collection is fully custom — each piece is printed by a specialist, shipped to us, then repackaged and sent to you. Our hats are hand-embroidered by a small shop we work with and also sent to us for final packing. Other items are made-to-order by our production partners and ship directly. Everything is produced per order — nothing is off-the-shelf.

A Known Host is someone wearing /32. Send us a photo in your gear to becøme a knøwn høst — it isn’t just gear, its you. Its a physical manifestation of your identity expressed through binary notation that can be translated in real time
